Kinburn Spit

From the Turkic "burn" is a cape. It is located in the Nikolaev region (about 40 km long, up to 10 km wide) and is washed by the Black Sea and the freshwater Dnieper and Southern Bug. At its widest point, it is 24 km long, and then it narrows literally to a meter. Hence the name of the spit, which in translation from the Turkic means "hair-like cape": "kon" - hair and "burun" - cape.

A unique natural eco-zone has formed on the spit: whole fields of medicinal plants and a pine forest grow here. On the one hand, you can bask in the sea, and on the other, improve your health in the healing mud.

Friday

In the morning at 07:00 Start Black Sea Yacht Club, Otrada.

07:00 - 15:00 Trekking to the Kinburn Spit. We will walk through the open sea, swimming, sunbathing on board, watching dolphins and passing ships.

15:00 - 17:00 Search for a convenient anchorage and camp on the shore. Unloading water, provisions, tents.

17:00 - 00:00 Swimming, fishing, catching shrimps, rapans and mussels. Barbecue, arrangement of tents for the night.

Saturday

All day rest on the island and yacht.

In addition to the magnificent marine nature, you will find unique places on the Kinburn Spit. This is Yagorlytsky Bay with a bird's island, where you can admire pelicans, swans and seagulls, and a giant oak, more than 300 years old. This is the protected Volyzhin forest, where century-old oaks, rare aspens and bushes grow. Also on the spit there are more than 400 lakes, some of which are with medicinal mud.

Sunday

In the morning at 08:00 we un-anchor, go to Odessa

08:00 - 17:00 Transition. On the way back, you can fish, swim, sunbathe.

17:00 - 18:00 Disembarkation at the yacht club.
