Route "Podil - Desna river"

  We depart from Podol and head upstream between Trukhanov and Rybalsky Islands, pass under the Podolsko-Voskresensky, Petrovsky and Severny bridges, then between Natalka Park and the Severny and Muromets islands, along Obolon and past Velikiy Island we head to the mouth of the Desna

Description of the resting place

  The Desna is the largest tributary of the Dnieper River, the 4th longest of the 6 large rivers of Ukraine (575 km in Ukraine + 555 km outside (basin area - 41300 km2), more than 60% of the capital's drinking water comes from this waterway). 

  Desna originates not far from Yelnya (RF), and the largest city located in the upper reaches is the regional center Bryansk. Desna passes into the territory of Ukraine near the village. Ants. The winding forms of the river are interesting for passing on boats, small motor ships and resting on its banks.
